About MatrixMind

Last updated 22 August 2026

MatrixMind is a practice site for abstract and spatial reasoning — the kind of pattern puzzles used in non-verbal reasoning tests. It was built to make that practice something you would actually choose to do, rather than a worksheet.

What is here

How progress works

Every mode feeds one rating. Solving harder puzzles raises it, missing easier ones lowers it, and the graph is there so improvement is something you can see rather than something we claim. Gems are earned only by playing — they are never sold.

Who built it

MatrixMind is an independent project, built and maintained by one person as a personal undertaking. It is written in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no frameworks and no build step — a deliberate choice, so the whole thing stays readable and there is nothing to rot.

What it costs

Nothing. There is no account to create, no subscription, and no paid tier. Progress is saved in your own browser rather than on a server, which is also why there is nothing to sign up for.
